Snowdonia Marathon
Snowdonia Marathon - Helpers & Marshals needed!
The Snowdonia marathon is widely regarded as the best and most difficult marathon in the UK. Don’t worry – we don’t actually have to run it, although sometimes at the end of the event if may feel like we have!

As you may know, vinvolved work closely with The National Trust who organise this marathon. Over the past 3 years we have been involved in this exciting event and our contribution has always been greatly appreciated. The great news is that we have been invited back to help marshal the race and manage the drink stations around the challenging, mountainous course.

We need a team of volunteers who enjoy the great outdoors and the beautiful scenery of Wales. You don’t need any experience of this kind of event, just a willingness to help as much as possible and the dedication to marshall even the slowest runners through the final miles of the course!
Quote from Marathon runner: “A huge thank you to all the organisers and especially those Marshalls and drink station helpers out on the course. Their good humour despite the conditions was fantastic.”

Volunteering at the Snowdon marathon is always great fun. It’s a challenge and can be quite frantic, especially when handing out water to the fastest competitors. If you are free for the weekend of 29th – 31st October, please get in touch to find out more. This opportunity is totally free for volunteers.
