vinvolved is the new National youth volunteering scheme set up to inspire a new generation of 16-25 year olds to get involved in volunteering and community action. Our team, hosted by Volunteer Centre Liverpool, is running the programme here in Liverpool. You may have heard of us through the previous Millennium Volunteers scheme.
If you are aged between 16-25 years, vinvolved can give you information on current volunteering opportunities that match your interests, support you in getting started and provide mational V recognition for the volunteering you do! We also run one-off taster sessions so if you’re not sure what you want to do – no problem! To get started download a form to let us know what you're interested in.

Preparing to Volunteer Session
We will now be running a monthly session in our offices for those of you who need more information on volunteering and would like to explore different types of volunteering and whether it is right for you. Our next session will be at 5pm on 30th July. Please let us know if you wish to come.
Superlambananaroamer
Want to check out the flock of superlambananas which have descended onto the region’s streets whilst raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support? Take part in our sponsored challenge to be photographed with as many superlambananas as possible in a day. You and a friend will be supplied with bus passes, maps, lunch, t shirts and disposable cameras and then the rest is up to you...
Once the photos are developed, the winners will be announced and prizes will include a small superlambanana worth £100 generously donated by Wild in Art.
This event will take place on Saturday August 2nd starting at 10am. NB You will need to raise a minimum of £15 in sponsorship to be able to enter this event.
